Do smart devices need an internet connection?
Wi-Fi devices such as switches, sockets and cameras need your home Wi-Fi so you can control them when you are away. Some devices, such as Bluetooth door locks, also work when you are standing near them.
Can I control everything from one app?
Many Tuya-compatible switches, sockets and sensors can be grouped in one app. Cameras and locks sometimes use their own brand app. We tell you which devices work together before you buy.
Can you install smart devices in a home that is already built?
